Travis Williams

Travis Williams obtained his Bachelor’s degree with honors from Florida State University before going on to law school. He also graduated with honors from Stetson University College of Law. He received the Victor O. Wehle Trial Advocacy Award given to the law school’s top trial litigator. During law school, Mr. Williams worked for the civil litigation firm of Thompson, Goodis & Thompson and as a Judicial Clerk for the 6th Judicial Circuit.

Travis Williams gained valuable criminal trial law experience as a State Prosecutor for Orange and Osceola Counties in Florida. He left the State Attorney’s Office in 2002 to pursue a career in criminal defense and personal injury with the goal of helping individuals and their families. He has tried a wide range of cases and spent many hours in both State and Federal courtrooms developing his advocacy skills. Mr. Williams is admitted to practice in the State and Federal Courts of Florida. In addition to his list of clients, he is occasionally appointed by the U.S. District Court Middle District of Florida to represent individuals charged with federal crimes.

Over the past twelve years, Mr. Williams has received recognition from two well known, prestigious publications. Both SuperLawyers and The National Trial Lawyers recognized Mr. Williams as one of the top lawyers and trial litigators in Florida and the United States. He has been selected for numerous years by The National Trial Lawyers as one of the Top 100 Trial Lawyers. He has also been selected and recognized multiple times by SuperLawyers which surveys the best attorneys with only 2.5 percent of the lawyers in Florida receiving this recognition.  Mr. Williams has been selected each of the past five years (2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023) by SuperLawyers as one of the top lawyers in Florida.

Mr. Williams is a member of the Central Florida Trial Lawyers Association, the Florida and Central Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the Florida Justice Association, the American Bar Association, the Florida Bar Association, and the Orange County Bar Association.

When Travis is not helping his clients, he is typically spending time and enjoying life with his wife, Francee and their three daughters. He also enjoys numerous sports and the outdoors.
